Q: Why is this parchment paper non-stick?

A: Our parchment paper is non stick because of it's double silicone coating. 

 

Q: What's the maximum temperature that this parchment can withstand?

A: This Parchment Paper can withstand temperatures of up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not touch an open flame or any portion of the oven. Our Parchment Paper should not be used in a broiler or a toasting unit.

 

Q: Should I reuse this parchment paper?

A: We do not recommend reusing Kalhoof parchment paper sheets, but several customers have mentioned using our parchment 2 or 3 times with no issues.

 

Q: Why should I use parchment paper instead of aluminum foil?

A: Unbleached parchment paper is considered a non - toxic and healthier option compared to aluminum foil. It's been mentioned that while using aluminum foil to cook or bake under high heat, some of the aluminum might leech into foods.

 

Q: Is wax paper the same as parchment paper?

A: No, wax paper is not the same as parchment paper. Wax paper is not meant for oven use. Wax paper is typically used for wrapping up food or for cold food storage.
